Location: Leicester Print Workshop, St. George Street, Leicester
Peter Rapp is a Leicester-based artist working primarily as a printmaker. Peter makes visually engaging work driven by stories – often of politics, religion and war. The figures in his work represent our fears, uncertainties, doubts and hope – whether we see ourselves as victims or as powerful, and the paradox of how our search for identity drives our need for belonging.
The 8 linocut prints in this exhibition are taken from a book made by the artist.
