Exhibition: Featured Artist Kit Boyd

Location: Greenwich Printmakers, London

Date: Until 29th January 2017

Details: Inspired by Samuel Palmer and the Neo-romantics, his landscapes combine the pastoral and the surreal. His Palmer-inspired etchings have been shown alongside Palmer’s original etchings in The Poetic Impulse – All the etchings of Samuel Palmer with selections by his Peers and Followers in Oxfordshire in 2013. They have also been shown at the London Original Print Fair at the Royal Academy with Elizabeth Harvey Lee and in New York at the Art on Paper Fair and 20/21 British Art at the Royal College of Art with the Rebecca Hossack Gallery.
His recent etching A Rural Rhapsody was shown in The Masters exhibition at Bankside Gallery in November curated by Norman Ackroyd RA.
We stock all of Kit’s editioned etchings in the gallery. Following his featured artist show, his etchings will be on show at the Works on Paper Fair in February at The Royal Geographical Society with print dealer Elizabeth Harvey-Lee.
Kit will be at the gallery on Friday 27th January with some of his etching plates and will be happy to talk to you about his techniques and his inspirations.
